Water Charges 2018 - 2019

The company has notified OFWAT the water industry's economic regulator and consulted with the Consumer Council for Water prior to publishing its water charges covering the year commencing 1st April 2018. There will be small increases in average bills for both unmeasured and measured households in 2018-19 compared with those in the year ending 31 March 2018.  The changes are summarised as follows:
 
Households where charges are based on the Rateable Value of the property: The average bill will rise from  £246.66 to £250.59 an increase of 1.59%
 
Households with metered supplies:  Bills, based on the average water usage of 105 cubic metres, will rise by 0.46% to £181.19 compared with the charges for 2017-18.
 
The Watersure charge for vulnerable customers will remain unchanged at £220.05
