Water Charges 2019 - 2020

The Customer Challenge and Advisory Group (CCAG) has approved the company's proposal for water charges icovering the year commencing 1st April 2019. This will be trhe last year that the OFWAT formula for the setting of charges will be used. There are small increases in average bills for both unmeasured and measured households for 2019-2020 compared with those for the prvious year.  The changes are summarised as follows:
 
Households where charges are based on the Rateable Value of the property: The average bill will rise from £250.38 to £258.95, an increase of 3.42%
 
Households with metered supplies:  Bills, based on the average water usage of 112 cubic metres per annum, will rise by 3.13% to £1196.507 compared with the charges for 2018-19.
 
The Watersure charge for vulnerable customers will remain unchanged at £220.05
