Cholderton Water is part of the Cholderton Estate which farms some 2,000 acres of land on the Hampshire/Wiltshire border.

We do not use any herbicides, insecticides or fungicides nor any purchased fertiliser - the only fertiliser is the manure from our own livestock. This makes our organic farm a haven for wildlife and provides the most natural environment for many plants, insects, bees, birds, mammals & butterflies - many of which are very rare and only found in a few places in the surrounding counties.

The Cholderton Estate is managed on sound agricultural and environmental principles with an emphasis on nature conservation and the preservation of natural habitats. The result is an estate with an exceptional wealth and diversity of wildlife.
